I am waiting.
My shifting swirling sapphire world is still. Skin whiter than fish-bone, Hair swirling like weed to the unwary traveller, I am waiting. The endless lapping of water on my skin as rock, My once warm blood chilled to match the lake. I may once have had flowing golden hair, warm eye, lips you could kiss. I stroke the silver pommel of the sword, rubies redder than blood, than fish-pale lips. Now, I am waiting.
